The Rebel Bear Art Exhibition: A new kind of art space
What began on Sunday 6th July 2025 as a one-day street art takeover has now become a permanent part of Linlithgow’s cultural landscape.
The Rebel Bear Art Exhibition with BOXXS Self Storage has transformed our Linlithgow site into a permanent, open-air street art gallery – Scotland’s boldest street art experience in an unexpected setting.
Scotland’s elusive street art icon, The Rebel Bear, has created his largest-scale work yet in partnership with BOXXS, painting striking murals directly onto storage containers. The pieces explore themes of love, politics, identity and society – exactly the kind of work that’s taken him from Glasgow to Paris and New York.
Now, these artworks remain on display 7 days a week, free and open to the public.

Ice Cream, Original Art & an Unforgettable Day
Our launch on the 6th July welcomed hundreds of visitors, with free ice cream for the first 500 guests, families exploring the site, and bold visuals splashed across industrial walls. That day may be over – but the art remains – permanently.
Meet the containers
Each painted container in the exhibition is an original work by The Rebel Bear. Some will be moved to new BOXXS locations, and others will become office units, preserving the art for years to come.
