At BOXXS, we handle big moves, big deliveries and big plans. This summer, we’re making room for something even bigger—and far more unexpected.

On Sunday, July 6, our Linlithgow site transforms into an open-air art gallery. For one day only, wander between our containers and discover them completely reimagined, not with logos or storage signage but with massive original murals by The Rebel Bear.

Who is The Rebel Bear?

Nobody knows.

Clad head-to-paw in a pink bear suit and keeping his identity secret, The Rebel Bear is Scotland’s most talked-about anonymous street artist. His work spans walls from Glasgow and Edinburgh to New York and Mumbai, tackling themes from digital surveillance and climate change to love, grief, class and connection. You’ve probably seen his art if you’ve spotted a spray-painted bear in Glasgow. But this time, it isn’t popping up overnight; it’s happening with full permission, on a grand scale, and just for you.

Turning storage into street art

For one day only, BOXXS becomes the canvas. The Bear will paint full-size murals, stencilled, some freehand, across multiple containers in our Linlithgow yard. It’s not something you see every day. And that’s precisely the point.

Free admission, no booking, no barriers. Just you, 13+ murals, and one of modern street art’s most distinctive voices—painted directly on the sides of our containers.

What happens afterwards?

We don’t know how many of these murals will remain on site after the exhibition, though one central piece signed by The Rebel Bear is already destined to stay as a permanent landmark. We’ll keep you posted on any additional works that find a lasting home here.

Because we believe storage doesn’t have to be boring, and creativity deserves a little permanence.
